One person is in a critical condition after a crash involving a car and a bus in Waitao, Tauranga.
Police say the injured person was travelling in the car and there were no serious injuries for anyone in the bus.
The crash on Welcome Bay Road, between Waitao Road and Water Lane, was reported about 6.15pm.
Welcome Bay Road will likely be closed for some time, police say.
Diversions are in place between Kairua Road and Water Lane.
