Parliament has debated a damning report into police handling of complaints against disgraced former top cop Jevon McSkimming.

The report by the Independent Police Conduct Authority found serious misconduct at the highest levels of police over how they handled accusations of sexual offending by former Deputy Commissioner McSkimming

Police Minister Mark Mitchell revealed 36 emails about McSkimming were kept from him by police.

Meanwhile, Social Investment Agency boss Andrew Coster - the Police Commissioner at the time of the McSkimming probe - has been put on leave and is refusing to comment.
