A woman has been charged with murder after a person was killed in a moving vehicle on State Highway 2 in Bay of Plenty.
The woman had been assisting police with their investigation into the death which occurred in Matatā on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Flax and Matatā Roads at about 3.50pm, after a report of two people being injured by a third person, while in a vehicle. The vehicle left the road and crashed.
During the incident, the vehicle left the road and crashed. RNZ understands the two injured people were stabbed during the incident.
One person died at the scene, while the other was in a stable condition in hospital.
A 35-year-old woman was due to appear in Whakatāne District Court on Monday on charges of murder, and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police said its investigation was ongoing.
