There has been some disruption to traffic on the Auckland Harbour Bridge because of a multiple car crash on the northbound side on Wednesday afternoon.

NZTA said one lane was blocked and traffic was still moving on four other northern lanes, although it warned it could become more congested as peak traffic time approached.
By around 4pm it reported the crash had been cleared and traffic was flowing normally for this time of day.
No injuries have been reported.
Motorcyclist critically injured on Transmission Gully
Meanwhile, drivers heading into Wellington were urged to avoid Transmission Gully this afternoon due to a serious crash involving a motorcyclist.
Emergency services were called to the section of State Highway 1 at 3.30pm.
Police said a motorcyclist has critical injuries and was being airlifted to hospital.
The road is now open.
