A person has been killed in a crash that's closed State Highway 1 near Dunedin.
Police were called to the collision involving a truck and a car on Allaton-Waihola Road, near Allanton, about 1am on Wednesday.
The road was closed west of the Allanton township, and diversions were expected to be in place until the afternoon.
