A missing 79-year-old Christchurch woman has been found safe.
Beryl was reported missing from Bishopdale on Thursday afternoon.
Police said she had a medical condition and that officers and her family were concerned for her well-being.
She was found by a member of the public, after an emergency text alert was sent out to advise locals in the area.
Police thanked everyone who had helped search.
