The Raft

In a lakeside settlement on the West Coast, Mark and Tonia retreat to Mark's family bach in a last ditch effort to rescue their troubled marriage. But when Mark's estranged parents arrive unannounced, memories flood back and threaten to drown them all. As the play progresses it is revealed that Mark and Tonia's five year old son Liam drowned while in the care of Mark's father Jack. This tragic accident has torn the family apart and finding themselves stuck together in a small bach over a wet weekend, all the tensions surface.
