This week in our weekly half hour injection of politics, Wallace is joined by Holly Bennett, director of a government relations firm, and former advisor to Minister Paul Goldsmith. Morning Report host Corin Dann also joins, alongside by former Green MP Sue Kedgely. 

Firstly, New York has a new Mayor: Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani won by a landslide. The panel discusses what this means for US politics as a whole. Then they take a look at two big stories of the week: the government move to scrap school board requirements to embed Te  Tiriti o Waitangi, and the rift in Te Pāti Māori.
