Museum Stop: Pounamu Pathway Māwhera

From Summer Times, 11:20 am on 22 January 2026

Our museum stop today brings us to Te Tai o Poutini, the West Coast, and a relative newcomer on the tourism scene in the region. The Pounamu Pathway is a unique collaboration between Poutini Ngai Tahu and Weta Workshop, with an aim to bring an ancient pathway made by pounamu traders and Maori toa back to life. Today we're at the Pounamu Pathway Mawhera Greymouth with Keefe Robinson-Gore.
