Dan Russell was working as a pilot when he inheritied Puketiti Station near Te Puia Springs following the death of his godfather. The inheritance was life changing. A book has been written about the story and history of the East Cape sheep station 'Puketiti Station' by Bee Dawson, published by Random House NZ.
