The Maritime Academy is flooded at every high tide on the island of Amatuku. According to a former student, the litoral has lost ground for ten years. The rising waters should make the Pacific low islands unviable long before they disappear. L'academie maritime est inondee a chaque maree haute sur l'ile d'Amatuku. Selon un ancien eleve, le litoral a perdu du terrain depuis une dizaine d'annees. La montee des eaux devrait rendre les iles basses du Pacifique invivables bien avant qu'elles ne disparaissent.
