Government tightens Covid-19 testing requirements

There's been a dramatic change to the criteria for having a Covid-19 test - and it means a lot fewer people will get one.

The Ministry of Health will no longer require people with any cold or cough or flu symptom to get a swab unless they are high risk.

Instead, under the new guidelines the focus will be on those with connections to travel or to the border.
