Waitangi Day: Formality, kai, waka under clear skies

Thousands of people attended events at Waitangi yesterday marking the 179th anniversary of the signing of the treaty. It was a mixture of formality, kai, waka and a real carnival atmosphere under sunny skies. RNZ reporter Andrew McRae looks back on the day.
