Parking tickets - they can really ruin your day.
While sometimes you have to take one on the chin, some recent media reports have highlighted more predatory behaviour.
For example, the Christchurch man who was hit with a $95 ticket for being in parking spot for eight seconds.
So, what are our rights when it comes to parking - and what are some tips for making sure we don't end up getting slapped with a fine, or worse - towed.
