Vanuatu's National Disaster Management Office is finalising plans for a 'second home' for Ambae residents who want to leave the island due to ongoing volcanic activity.
The office's operations manager says there are two key issues remaining: securing land on neighbouring Maewo, and adequately resourcing the relocation.
Peter Korisa spoke with Dominic Godfrey about the plans.
